Rowan and Lei
The path gets steeper as you travel deeper and deeper, further and further into the jungle. You can hardly see anything at all in the moving darkness around you. But you follow the river. You can hear birds chirping and some... big animals... lurking around you. Wait! There is light ahead! You quicken your pace, soon breaking into a run. You expect to find a clearing of some sort, but are dissapointed to find only a big tree with a wooden and cloth, but very architectural and well-layed out, structure next to it. There is light coming out of it, and a door in it. There is a slow-flowing river next to it. The trees seem to be thinning out, and you can see a clearing right behind the river. You turn away from the view and walk towards the door, but before you reach it, a girl jumps in front of you from one of the branches of the trees. She has long black hair, held in a neat bun, with bangs in the front. Her eyes are green/brown, and she is wearing a brown shirt and khaki shorts. She lands in a croutched position, one hand on the ground, and you can see that she is used to living in the trees. She stands up and smiles.
"Hello visitor! I'm Rowanesailon Shiorirenay. Call me Rowan." she extends her hand, and you shake it. Then she leads you into her home.
It's much bigger than it seemed on the outside, though the furnishing is very simple, fitting in perfectly with the layout of the structure. There is a little table, with a torch on it, and a fat mattress with a flowered sheet on it. There is also a *very* thick blanket on the floor. Wait... It's moving! The blanket slips away and a baby leagus pops out.
"This is my home..." she smiles. "And that's Enenlei!" she yells exitedly.
Enenlei nods.
I am a leagus!
Seeing your puzzled look, she explains... "Leagi are crosses between lion, dragon and equine."
The hatchling nods again. A deep horn is heard, and Lei perks her ears and looks at Rowan. "We need to go now. Stay as long as you want. Please close the door behind you, but don't put out the torch..." she winks and opens the door. Lei licks your hand, then frolics out the door like only a hatchling can do...
