You arrive at the Zaynab V'i-Séchel Ocean. You can see a little lump on the horizon. Pegasus Island... Cloud whistles. *What are you doing?* ~I don't wanna fly... My wings are broken.~ she goes human. *Slave labor...* you grin. Cloud smirks. A big purple stallion lands next to you, then a black and white one lands next to Cloud. She hops on. ~This is Gower.~The purple introduces himself as Eboias. You hop on, being careful not the hurt his wings, putting your legs behind them. You grab a handful of mane. He walks forward a ways, away from the water, then gallops back. He gallops a little on the water, then warns you Hold on, and takes off. You're surprised at how quickly you get to the island. You stay on, following Cloud's example. You walk in the fields, with pegasi grazing left and right. You think you see unicorns and alicorns too, but you're not sure. Eboias names them off. Shei'mre, Kaluss, Paas'yutai, Za~ynoi, Kor!Maneh, Fadav, Delen, Coihd'tasquyt... He stops as he arrives at a pegasus village. The homes are actually big cozy rooms. The floor is a weird rock that's sorta foamy, you know, like syrofoam, but not really. There are thick blankets in the corners on the floor, to sleep, you asume. There is a big feeder in the middle of the room, very decorated, with carving in the firm rock, and always full. You run into a group of hatchlings, and are surprised to see unicorns and alicorns mixed with the pegasi majority. There is a beautiful rainbow pegasus among them. *What's your name?* you ask him. Rhaleon... he says shyly. You notice a grey striped dragonish one, but before you comment, they trot off. The one you noticed, mutters about how Rhaleon gets all the attention 'cause he's a rainbow. Some one else remarks that he's a driacorn, so he gets a lot too. *Driacorn, huh?* you remark to yourself. They start laughing for some reason. They probably have that discussion a lot. You pass lots of houses, some empty, some not, you find there are a lot of unicorns and alicorns, but still only a fraction, compared to the pegasi. You pass a school, where a concerned pegasus parent is talking to a black girl with a star on her forehead. Eboias turns onto a smaller path, and goes into a house. You duck, but find there was no need, because of the very high doorway. Cloud and Gower walk in behind you. You slip off. A pegasus and a unicorn mare are watching TV, the unicorn on her side, and the pegasus straight. There's a pegasus foal with his nose glued to the screen, and making cluckng noises, then running around periodically, then gluing himself to the idiot box again. Stop it, Giol'k!et. the unicorn says. He looks at his mother, then sits himself down right in front of the TV. Why don't you turn it off and go play Kan!Tenii with Rhaleon...? he whines, nods, and runs up into ... the wall? You look, and see that there is a doorway with a slope going up to the next level. You sit down on the floor between Cloud and Gower, and join in the conversation. By their positions, you guess that Eboias and the unicorn are mates, and Gower and the pegasus are, aswell. Hello visitor, I am Arena'Kuet. says the unicorn. I'm Ibina!n'Ressa. says the pegasus.
You talk for some time, then it comes time for you to leave. Farewell and clear skies traveller. says Arena. *Do I get a clue?* All books do not contain but words. she looks back at you as she trots off. *Books...* you ponder for the meaning of the clue. ~Beach, Sands, or Rainforest?~
