Gaylor and Terka
You follow the creek into the fog, and pull up your pant legs in disgust and the ground gets marshier. You come to a large meadow, and you can see a small group of trees, including one particularly big one. You decide it looks like a good place to go, and that's where the creek is going so you follow it.
The fog thins and the ground gets firmer as you venture further in the short-cut grass. When you get to the tree, on the edge of the small forest, you are dissapointed to see no animals, just a small but appealing structure made out of wood and carved stone. You walk towards the door, but before you reach it, a boy jumps in front of you from one of the branches of the trees. He has short black hair, with little spikes. His eyes are light brown-yellow, honey color, and he is wearing a no shirt and green baggy pants. He lands in a croutched position, one hand on the ground, and you can see that he is used to living in the trees. He stands up and smiles.
"Hello visitor! I'm Gaylororpeka Shiorirenay. Call me Gaylor." he extends her hand, and you shake it. Then he leads you into his home.
It's much bigger than it seemed on the outside, though the furnishing is very simple, fitting in perfectly with the layout of the structure. There is a little table, with a torch on it, and a fat mattress with a flowered sheet on it. There is also a thick blanket on the floor.
"This is my home..." he smiles.
"Do you live her by yourself?"
"Oh, no! I have my little baby Kayatha, Terkan!i'Aleba...."
A beautiful mare walks in the door.
I'm NOT your little baby!
He grins. "Kayatha are a species of equine. A very *rare* and often hunted species. I'm told their fur seems to be prized among humans..."
You hear a deep horn, and you start. Terka laughs.
We must go now, kind traveller. I hope you will return...
she nudges you, then trots out the door, with Gaylor behind her. "Can you blow ou the torch when you leave?" he grins, then slips out the door.
You blow out the torch, walk out the door, careful to close it behind you, and follow the creek back...
